There are two fundamental assortments of shea margarine, Butyrospermum Parkii (West African) and Vitellaria Nilotica (East African). Butyrospermum Parkii is delivered in West Africa where as Vitellaria Nilotica is created exclusively in Northern Uganda and Southern Sudan.

  • Refined shea butter
    • White and odorless
    • Has a longer shelf life than unrefined shea butter
    • Still a good moisturizer
    • Lacks the natural skin regenerating benefits of unrefined shea butter
    • May have lost some nutrients during processing
